Education: I am a 2004 graduate of SBEC (now Northpoint Christian School), a 2008 graduate of Christian Brothers University (B.A. in English), and I participated in Belhaven University's Alternate Route to Teacher Certification program. I also have a Masters of Science in Education in Special Education from Arkansas State University. I am certified to teach the following subjects:

7-12 English

7-12 Social Studies

K-12 Mild/Moderate Disabilities

Experience: This is my seventh year teaching at SOES. However, previously, I have taught 4th and 5th grade Resource at Oak Grove Elementary. This experience has been very rewarding, and I am truly blessed to play a part in your child's academic growth.

I am 33 years old, and a native of DeSoto County. My husband, Tyler, and I have been married for nine years, and we live in Southaven with our Beagle, Brandy. We enjoy spending time with family and friends and traveling. I also love to read! I am very excited to be working at SOES and to be your child's teacher!
