The Kindergarten program will be in May.
We will celebrate the entire Kindergarten year.
Education: I graduated from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee with a Bachelor of Music degree. I continue my education in music through Music Educators' National Conference and National Association for Music Education.
Experience: This is the beginning of my 14th year as Music Teacher at Shadow Oaks Elementary School. I taught Choral Music at Southaven Middle and High Schools as well as 3rd Grade at Oak Grove Central Elementary in Hernando. I have been a Church Pianist for over 25 years and presently teach private piano lessons in my home on Tuesday afternoons.
Bio: I was born in Nashville, Tennessee and have lived in the Memphis area for most of my life. I currently live in Hernando with my husband, John. We have been married for 41 years!!!
We have 2 daughters:
Jennifer lives in Memphis and works from home as the Director of Media and Regional Marketing for Certa Pro Painters which is headquartered in Oak, Pennsylvania.
Brooke lives in Olive Branch and is in her 11th year as Choral Director at Center Hill Middle School in Olive Branch, Mississippi.

Since I first came to Shadow Oaks, I’ve loved to go to school.
But, when it came to spelling, it wasn’t very cool!
Now that word Mississippi was awfully hard to spell
But now I will convince you that I can spell it well!
M-I-S S-I-S S-I-P-P-I
That used to be so hard to spell, It almost made me cry,
But since I’ve studied spelling, it’s just like pumpkin pie.
