"God Bless the USA"

I'm proud to be an American, where at least I know I'm free!         And I won't forget the men who died , who gave that right to me. And I'll gladly stand up, next to you and defend her still today,  'cause there ain't no doubt , I love this land, God bless the USA!

Welcome to Music at Shadow Oaks Elementary

Each student has the opportunity to be creative and to display a passion for music when they are in my classroom!

I am excited to help your student develop a love for music!

It has been suggested for us not to sing at this time.  We will be learning our songs in Sign Language and will let professionals (who have made a CD) sing for us!

Musical programs are on hold.

Second grade students celebrated Veteran's Day in November. Each class was recorded as they performed sign language to Lee Greenwood's "God Bless the USA". They also learned "God Bless America", You're a Grand Ole Flag", and "This Land Is Your Land".

Every student at SOES learned the following songs in sign language during the Fall semester:

"Music in the Air"

"Tidy Up Your Room"

"All That I Can Be"

"What a Wonderful World"

"Walking in a Winter Wonderland"

"Silver Bells"

"White Christmas"

We learned the following songs in sign language during the Spring Semester:

"Respect"

"The Hills Are Alive With the Sound of Music"

"Sevens"

"What Is a Friend"

"My Favorite Things"

"Everything Is Beautiful"
