I am  excited to begin the year of 2019 at Shadow Oaks Elementary School!

In 2003, I finished my degree in Elementary Education from Mississippi University for Women in Columbus, MS. My husband and I both moved to DeSoto County to continue our careers as educators in 2005. Since moving to DeSoto County, I have held several educational roles within our school district. I have worked as a classroom teacher, an elementary librarian, an interventionist, School Testing Coordinator, and now I am moving in to the role as Assistant Principal.  Recently, I completed my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University. I have three daughters that are my pride and joy. My oldest two daughters attend school in DeSoto County and my youngest will begin Kindergarten in the Fall of 2019.
