About the Teacher
Hi! My name is Rachael Pollock! This will be my third year teaching at Shadow Oaks Elementary and I am so excited to be your child's Kindergarten teacher!! I want each of you to know that I will do everything I can to ensure that your child has the best year possible.

Education and Experience:
I received a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from The University of Mississippi in 2020. I am qualified to teach Elementary K-6, English and Social Studies 7-12, and SPED Mild/Moderate K-12. Before receiving my Bachelor's Degree, I was a Pre-K teacher at a local daycare.
Personal Info: I am originally from a small town in Illinois, but moved to DeSoto county in 1999. I am excited to be able to teach in Horn Lake as I am a graduate of Horn Lake High School-Class of 2005. GO EAGLES! I am an avid reader and hope to instill a love of reading inside of my classroom.

As an educator, my goal is to provide each student with a safe and positive classroom environment where each student knows how important they are. We as a class will embrace our differences. I want to help students achieve their personal and academic goals and encourage them to do their best despite challenges that may occur. My hope is that your child will leave my classroom knowing how valued they are and have a love for learning.

Hello! My name is Teresa Padgitt. I will be working with your child this year in Kindergarten. Together I know we will have a wonderful year!
I was born and raised in Memphis, TN. My family and I moved to Walls, MS in 1997. I have a wonderful husband named Chris, a son named John Christopher, 2 precious granddaughters Alice and Sarah and 3 dogs, Annie, Kozy, and Sophie. This is my 7th year teaching. My first 5 years were in 1st grade at Greenbrook. This will be my second year teaching Kindergarten at Shadow Oaks and I am super excited to work with Ms. Pollock and to watch your child learn and grow this year.
