Hello! My name is Ms. Shunquita Henry. I am excited to have the pleasure of being your child’s 2nd grade teacher. This school year will be my ninth year of teaching and my first year at Shadow Oaks Elementary. I LOVE teaching and my daily goal is to make your child excited about learning new and challenging things and growing academically.

I am a dog mom to my 1 year basset retriever named Harley.

I am the big sister to two little brothers.

I am a graduate of The University of Mississippi (Hotty Toddy!) where I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Delta State University (Go Fighting Okra!) where I received my Master's degree in Elementary Education.

When I'm not teaching or planning awesome things for us to do at school... I enjoy creating creative DIYs and hanging out with friends and family. My favorites are Spaghetti,Tacos, Peach Jolly Ranchers, Sour Punch Gummi Candy and White Cheddar and Caramel Popcorn. My favorite colors are Rose Gold, Blush Pink, Olive and Mint.
